Woodbridge Memorial Gardens was established in 1977. Woodbridge is a nonsectarian mausoleum located in Woodbridge, New Jersey. On May 14, 1977 Dr. Norman Vincent Peale , world renowned author, lecturer, and spiritual leader, dedicated Woodbridge Memorial Gardens as more than 1,000 guests and dignitaries looked on. Woodbridge Memorial Gardens offers peaceful views of glass-enclosed gardens, stained glass and statuary, including famous works of art and architecture.
A full size reproduction of Michelangelo’s Pieta is on permanent display in the Woodbridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Italian sculptors hand carved the 6-foot, 5,000-pound statue from one solid block of marble, selected at the same Cararra quarry used by Michelangelo. Woodbridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum also has a lovely Madonna statue displayed as well as striking stained glass windows and an impressive stained glass niche wall.
